Gallo Wine Brands

As Creative Director and Brand Steward for Gallo Wine Brands, oversaw a portfolio of over 30 wine brands including category leaders like Barefoot, Apothic, Black Box, Ravenswood, Mark West and many others that represent the top 5% of wine brands by volume in America. Led a dynamic creative department to serve as the in-house agency servicing the needs of our suite of brands. Overall in-house performance from 2025 resulted in a $2.6M internal revenue build based on a $1.8M goal.

Barefoot Wines: Led the redesign and relaunch of the Barefoot brand website for 2025, enhancing user experience and brand visibility. Designed and launched a compelling campaign to highlight the brand win as American Winery of the Year 2025, as well as a complete refreshed strategy and style guide developing the future state of how the brand activates across all channels. Supported all of these initiatives with strategy, brand building along with photo and video shoots.

Barefoot x NFL: Partnering with brand teams and the NFL, designed and launched a far-reaching campaign for the 2025 football season as the official wine partner of the NFL. This included over 300 distinctive design deliverables across all touchpoints from out-of-home, digital to point-of-sale. This covered every key moment from the NFL Draft, Regular Season, Holiday Season and the Super Bowl, along with bespoke solutions for specific large-scale retailers.

Luc and Léon: Conceptualized and designed a Brut brand based on nothing more than wine in a bottle and a target market. Through strategic analysis of the competitive landscape, built out a brand positioning statement, brand principles, distinctive assets and style guide leading to the Q1 2026 launch of the product line.

Apothic: Modernized and elevated the photography and point-of-sale activation for this steadfast retail wine brand through both Valentine's Day and Halloween tentpole seasons, along with standard equity branding.

Black Box: As a brand that had previously relied on external agencies, led a team to rethink and strategize the look and feel for activation in Q4 2025. The success of this project won us the full suite of work for 2026, further contributing to hitting our $2.6M topline result for 2025.

Other Brands and Programs: Along with the breadth of work for our power brands, also supported smaller and niche brands with the same level of care and design integrity: Frei Brothers, Liberty Creek, Mark West, Nobilo, Ravenswood, Peter Vella and many more.
